	I have started a personal weblog to catalogue my feelings and ideas: theturtle.livejournal.com This journal will still be used for my studies, research and work, which hopefully will become something worth talking about shortly.

I do not have a live journal, so I thought I'd mention briefly here that I was asked by my grandpa if I was a "man-hater" last weekend. I can relate with those emotions on a similar level. I feel a deep pain in my heart region about twice a month, but I've sort of come to terms with the idea that this isn't the place or time to find a significant other (as it has not been the time or place for my entire life). (And then I'm still in high school...so who am I to talk...) But nevertheless, keep your chin up, eh? The ideals you'd prefer to live by are far too vital to impair. Good will come to you.

I don't know where to begin.... Well, no worries, I understood that "warbly" mess just fine, and I think it's good that you say what you feel. You keep everything to yourself and your heart turns to stone (something I believe but don't live by very well...). I don't really know how to word this, but who is to say that I wouldn't be interested? Ah, but I see that maybe you tend to sell yourself short because you're not understood by many people that surround you. I tend to do that too. Well, I do actually live in Tallahassee, and fact of the matter is, as long as you're open-minded, compassionate, intelligent, friendly, and don't treat me differently because I'm a girl, you're worth getting to know. I'm single because I attend a school filled to the brim with a large majority of self-important douchebags, and when you've been single as long as I have you don't settle for just anything. Heh, there goes some of that unleashed bitterness.

But yeah. My mind is warped so I must stop there. Questions? Concerns? Haha, fuck I'd better go to sleep.

Sure, I'll get on AIM as soon as possible, probably tomorrow night. I was on briefly tonight but due to a mixture of being knocked offline and having to read 4 chapters of a book, I never got back on.

Yeah, it would be cool to do something in the near future. Unfortunately AP exams start next week and continue into the week after that, but we can figure something out, and that will give us some time to get to know each other a bit.... I'm pretty much at home wherever I go as well.

Heh, I know what you mean. I'm trying not to act excited because after an extended amount of time living in one manner, it's hard not to be precautious and afraid...but it's sort of hard.
